ACADEMY - Culture Creation & Visual Strategy

For the second Academy session, we explored the themes of culture and storytelling through the eyes of Natasa Marijana and Paul Edwards. Both speakers brought raw, personal insights into how creative work not only documents culture, but actively creates it.

From the power of imagery to the responsibility of representation, the session offered an unfiltered look at how visual storytelling can influence perception and shape entire communities. Participants were encouraged to reflect on their own roles in shaping culture, whether through art, media, or everyday creativity.

The evening was inspiring, challenging, and deeply personal—reminding us that culture is not something abstract, but something built in real time, by real people.
